A nearly microscopic coating of metal-oxide, the coating acts as a reflector of UV and IR rays. Acts like sunscreen, but for your home.
Along with the window frame, the spacer bar protects against thermal transfer along the edges of the glass. Available in foam, stainless steel, or aluminum.
A completely inert noble gas, argon acts to slow down convection currents inside the sealed unit. Provides greater insulation to the unit regardless of Low-E coating.

1 coat of silver-oxide allows maximum amount of passive heat gain. Best for north elevations or areas where there is no direct sun exposure.

2 coats of silver-oxide provides great protection against UV while allowing some passive heat gain. Highest level of comfort and protection against fading. For sunny south, west, and east elevations.
LOE366
3 coats of silver-oxide provides maximum protection against UV. Highest level of comfort and protection against fading. For sunny south and west elevations.

Cardinal LoE-i89 coating delivers exceptional insulation performance with very low U-factors, improving winter efficiency in colder climates like Canada. It allows more natural daylight while reflecting interior heat back into the home to reduce heat loss. Offering performance comparable to triple-pane efficiency within a double-pane unit, LoE-i89 maintains clear, haze-free views and enhanced indoor comfort year-round.

The construction of Delco’s aluminum window profiles for the operating sashes are constructed using aluminum corners completely adjustable for a perfect exterior finish. The aluminum profile for the frame is fastened using aluminum corner keys and crimping technology.
The frame depth is 114mm (4 1/2") or 152mm (6"). The standard sash depth is 73mm (2 7/8") with a height of 44mm (1 3/4'') and designed for 32mm (1 1/4'') glazed units. Mullions are 116mm (4 9/16") deep.
Continuous flexible weatherstrip and glazing beads, including the corners, on the glazed unit perimeter, ensure optimal insulation. A structural sealant joint is inserted on the window periphery on the interior part of the operating sash.
Delco’s new engineered window frame material, provides higher deflection of heat and cold, creating an insulating barrier between your hom and the outside . . . leading to much higher energy savings.
