A nearly microscopic coating of metal-oxide, the coating acts as a reflector of UV and IR rays. Acts like sunscreen, but for your home.
Along with the window frame, the spacer bar protects against thermal transfer along the edges of the glass. Available in foam, stainless steel, or aluminum.
